The Society for Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension (SVAHE) was created in year 2006 at Guru Angad Dev veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana, Punjab with the objective to provide the necessary impetus to the livestock extension through brining the extension people across the country on a platform to chalk out a concrete policy for the same. The society was registered under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860) with registration number LDH/055 of 2006-07. The Society has around 100 life members from across the country.
